PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice processing device capable of improving a user's understanding of an input voice while suppressing the delay of voice processing.SOLUTION: A voice processing device includes: an acquisition section for acquiring an input voice; and a detection section for detecting a sound period included in the input voice, and a soundless period following an end of the sound period. The voice processing device further includes a calculation section for calculating the amount of information included in the sound period, and a control section for controlling the length of the soundless period on the basis of the amount of information.
