PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler system which controls a combustion state of a boiler at proper timing, taking pressure loss to a steam header into consideration.SOLUTION: A boiler system 1 includes a boiler group 2 including a plurality of boilers 20 capable of combusting by changing a combustion rate and a steam header 6 for gathering the steam outputted from the boiler group 2, and the steam gathering at the steam header 6 is supplied to a steam use facility 18. A local control unit 22 provided in the boiler 20 includes: a combustion rate calculation unit 24 for calculating a combustion rate (A) of the boiler 20; a pressure loss calculation unit 25 for calculating pressure loss (&Dgr;P) from the boiler 20 to the steam header 6 based on the combustion rate (A) of the boiler 20; and a steam starting determination unit 26 for determining the starting of steam in the boiler 20 from whether or not a steam pressure of the boiler 20 has risen by the pressure loss (&Dgr;P) or more when compared to the steam pressure of the steam header 6. |
