PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capillary electrophoresis apparatus which makes it possible to use a polymer as a separation medium without waste.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a mechanism which makes it possible to use a polymer without waste in a capillary electrophoresis apparatus for performing electrophoresis by charging a separation medium into a capillary. In the invention, a polymer is charged into a capillary at a predetermined place according to the number of samples and therefore a polymer is not wasted.
