PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing nonuniformity of darkness of a display surface in a case in which each dot is in an off-state in a liquid crystal display in which partial dots are obliquely formed.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display 40 can display a design such as a fuel gage image 14 on a display surface 13 by controlling the light permeability of each of a plurality of dots 41, 43 arranged along the display surface 13. The liquid crystal display 40 is provided with a standard dot 41, an oblique dot 43 which is obliquely formed with respect to the standard dot 41, and a plurality of transparent wires 47 which are formed of a translucent conductive material and transmit control signals to the standard dot 41 and the oblique dot 43. A complement dot 45 having a smaller area than the standard dot 41 is arranged in a gap area 49 inevitably generated between the adjacent transparent wires 47.
