PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-leveling material the flowability of which is hardly changed with time and which keeps a quick setting time even when inexpensive cellulose ether is used.SOLUTION: The self-leveling material contains water-soluble hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose, cement, aggregate and water. A degree of substitution of an alkyl group in the water-soluble hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose is 1.2-1.7 and the sum of the degree of substitution of the alkyl group and the substituted molar number of a hydroxyalkyl group is 1.5-2.0. A ratio of a glucose ring having no substituent of the alkyl group or the hydroxyalkyl group per glucose ring units is 10 mol% or lower. |
