PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate detection of a foreign substance hindering power reception from a power transmission unit or having a risk on safety.SOLUTION: A foreign substance detector device includes: a foreign substance detector unit disposed between a power reception unit, receiving power from the power transmission unit in a non-contact manner, and the power transmission unit, for detecting a foreign substance when the power reception unit receives power from the power transmission unit; and a power control signal generator unit for, on detection of the foreign substance by the foreign substance detector unit, generating a power control signal to control power transmitted from the power transmission unit. |
