PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of suppressing the consumption of fuel associated with rotation synchronous control.SOLUTION: The control device for the internal combustion engine is applied to the internal combustion engine whose output shaft is connected to an input shaft of a manual transmission via a clutch, for performing rotation synchronous control to synchronize the rotating speed of the output shaft with the rotating speed of the input shaft in association with a change in the shift stage of the manual transmission. The control device starts the rotation synchronous control when the shift stage is changed, and finishes the rotation synchronous control when a lapsed time after finishing the change of the shift stage exceeds a first finish determination time TE1. |
