PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phantom that can be used for a photoacoustic-wave diagnostic apparatus for long periods of time without degradation.SOLUTION: A phantom 10 has a base material 11, light absorbers/scatterers (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 13e) in the base material 11, and a film member 12 on the surface of the base material 11. The base material 11 has light propagation characteristics and acoustic propagation characteristics similar to those of a human tissue. The film member 12 covers at least a portion of the base material 11. The phantom 10 is used for a photoacoustic-wave diagnostic apparatus. |
