PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of determining a page number when resuming printing on the basis of a page number of a page printed lastly before stopping the printing.SOLUTION: A printer 1, arranged between a print portion 11 for printing images and a paper discharge portion 2b, comprises: a camera 13 that optically reads out page numbers printed on a print object 2d printed by the print portion 11; a spool portion 12 that stores an intermediate file of each page; and a printer control portion 10 that, when resuming printing after stopping the printing, obtains a page number using the camera 13 and then refers to the spool portion 12, searches for an intermediate file corresponding to a page number following the page number obtained using the camera 13 from unprinted intermediate files and resumes the printing using the searched intermediate file. |
