PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector for habitable room ventilation and a ventilation system incorporated with the same, for reducing a maintenance frequency, by continuing the dust collection action by resuming the electric field formation by always impressing proper voltage, even after abnormal discharge by the naturally recoverable and impossible cause of moisture by maintaining dust collection efficiency long.SOLUTION: A constant current control part 6 for sending a constant current to an ionization part 3, a measuring part 7 for always measuring an impression voltage value and an electric current value of a dust collection part 4, a voltage stage control part 8 for outputting a vertical change command to the abnormal discharge of causing a sudden variation in the impression voltage value and the electric current value and voltage of not causing the abnormal discharge by a continuance of a variation in a constant range and a voltage changing part 9 for changing the voltage by receiving this command, are added to an electric dust collector 2 composed of the ionization part 3, the dust collection part 4 and a power source 5, and when the abnormal discharge is caused, electric power supply is cut off, and the dust collection action is continued by the dust collection part 4 by lowering the voltage by the voltage changing part 9. When continuing this dust collection action for a preset time, the voltage is increased, and the dust collection action is continued.
