PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable intake device in which hermetic sealability when bringing an intake passage into a closed state can be improved.SOLUTION: An intake manifold (the variable intake device) 100 includes an intake control valve 6 including a valve element 62 formed to extend from a shaft part 61 arranged in the intake passage of an intake pipe part 2, a stopper part 7 formed to be recessed from a root portion 7c of an inner wall face 21a of a first port 21 of the intake pipe part 2 toward an outer wall, a seal lip 8 provided in the stopper part 7 in such a way that the intake passage is brought into the closed state when the valve element 62 abut on the seal lip, and a protruded part 71 provided on the root portion 7c at the gravity-vertical-direction upper side (the side in the direction of an arrowhead X1) of the inner wall face 21a of the intake pipe part 2 while being protruded toward the gravity-vertical-direction lower side (the side in the direction of an arrowhead X2). |
