PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device configured so that the clogging of a filter due to waxing of fuel is to be prevented, which further prevents the clogging of the fuel filter due to early switching of the flow of recirculation fuel to the side of a fuel tank.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device includes: a pressure reduction valve 20 for discharging high pressure fuel from a common rail 16 into a recirculation path 40; and a recirculation valve 22 for recirculating recirculation fuel into a filter 12 when a temperature of the recirculation fuel circulating in the recirculation path 40 is low, and for recirculating the recirculation fuel into a fuel tank 10 when the temperature of the recirculation fuel is high. When the temperature of the recirculation fuel is lower than a target temperature, a target value for the flow amount of the fuel to be discharged from the pressure reduction valve 20 is calculated on the basis of a difference between the temperature of the recirculation fuel and the target temperature of the recirculation fuel, and the pressure reduction valve 20 is driven so that the flow amount of the fuel to be discharged from the pressure reduction valve becomes the target value. When the temperature of the recirculation fuel reaches the target temperature of the recirculation fuel, the pressure reduction valve 20 is closed. |
