PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scene management method capable of managing (protecting) desired scenes or contents including the scenes by a simple operation.SOLUTION: The scene management method receives scene information on plural scenes included in plural contents, reproduces one scene in response to an instruction to reproduce the scene from among the plural scenes based on the scene information, and stores plural first scenes in response to an instruction to protect the first scenes included in the plural scenes based on the scene information. The first scenes are not targets of automatic deletion after the lapse of a designated period after they are stored.
