PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor module that has a coil easily fixed, and a device for driving a switching element which uses the semiconductor module.SOLUTION: A drain metal plate 7 and a source metal plate 8 are arranged opposite to each other, and current conduction directions of the metal plates 7, 8 are obtuse or opposite to each other. Magnetic fields caused between the drain metal plate 7 and the source metal plate 8 can enhance each other to cause a strong magnetic field in a core 13 of a winding coil unit 9. A coil 14 of the winding coil unit 9 generates a high induced electromotive voltage in response to the strong magnetic field. |
