<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-swellable laminate film to be a gelatinous film having moderate strength by absorbing moisture, and a swallowable substance-coated body coated with a swallowable substance by using this water-swellable laminate film.SOLUTION: At least one face of a film (A) containing 8 to 35 mass% of a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylate group-containing water-soluble polymer (a1) and 8 to 35 mass% of a pharmaceutically acceptable polyvalent metal compound (a2) having a solubility of 0.1 g/100 g or less in water at 25°C, where particles of the (a2) component are inside present in dispersion state, with a film (B) containing 50 to 95 mass% of a nonionic water-soluble polymer (b1) and 3 to 25 mass% of a pharmaceutically acceptable organic acid (b2) having a molecular weight of 1000 or less, to obtain a water-swellable laminate film. By using this water-swellable laminate film, a swallowable coated body is coated with a swallowable substance.</p> |
