A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes: a liquid crystal panel; a backlight unit which includes an LED assembly and a light guide plate which faces the LED assembly through at least one side thereof and is formed on the rear of the liquid crystal panel. A plurality of vertical parts which vertically protrude from the rear of the liquid guide plate outward and a plurality of light scattering patterns which are composed of arc parts which face a plurality of LEDs of the LED assembly as curved surfaces which are extended from the vertical part to the liquid crystal panel upwards are arranged on the rear of the light guide plate in the longitudinal direction of the light guide plate. Thereby, the liquid crystal display device with high brightness and quality is formed. |
