The invention relates to a transmission for vehicles. The transmission for vehicles of the present invention comprises: a clutch hub having a clutch plate provided thereto; a clutch retainer having a clutch disc provided such that friction occurs between the clutch plate and the clutch disc; a piston combined with the clutch retainer moving the clutch plate to cause friction between the clutch plate and the clutch disc; an elastic member combined with the piston, and applying elasticity to the piston such that the piston moves to the clutch retainer; an elastic member retainer combined with the clutch retainer having a pocket protruded on one side thereof combined with the elastic member; and a speed sensor arranged facing the elastic retainer measuring the revolutions per minute by sensing the pocket.
