摘要 The present invention relates to a ballast water treatment system. The ballast water treatment system includes: a filter and electrolysis unit which externally receives inflow of ballast water and filters and electrolyzes the ballast water; a first sensor unit which measures properties of ballast water passing through the filter and electrolysis unit and outputs the result; a second sensor unit which measures oxidant concentrations of ballast water passing through the first sensor unit and outputs the result; an oxidant storage unit storing oxidant chemicals to be put into ballast water flowing between the first and second sensor units; a neutralization treatment unit which injects a neutralizing agent into ballast water passing through the second sensor unit to neutralize residual oxidants remaining in the ballast water; a third sensor unit which measures concentrations of residual oxidants in ballast water neutralized in the neutralization treatment unit; and a control unit which is positioned to be electrically connected to the first sensor unit, the filter and electrolysis unit, the second sensor unit, the oxidant storage unit, the neutralization treatment unit, and the third sensor unit, receives properties of ballast water from the first sensor unit, oxidant concentrations of ballast water from the second sensor unit, and concentrations of residual oxidants in ballast water from the third sensor unit, respectively, and generates a control signal controlling electrolysis strength of the filter and electrolysis unit, a discharge rate of the neutralizing agent in the neutralization treatment unit, or a discharge rate of the oxidant chemicals in the oxidant storage unit according to the receiving values. Therefore, sterilization efficiency of ballast water at the stage of ballasting ballast water may satisfy the USCG standard, and sterilization treatment of ballast water in the fresh water area may be possible.
