<p>The present invention relates to a train-stopping energy conversion apparatus comprising: a pair of support rollers installed to be axially rotated at one side of a rail with a predetermined gap in between, and supporting the wheels of a train; a power transfer unit for transferring the rotational power of an axle to a generator; the generator for generating electrical energy through the driving of the power transfer unit; and a storage battery for storing the electrical energy generated by the generator. The present invention can convert the energy wasted in train-stopping into electrical energy for utilization; can minimize the usage of a braking device and thus reduce the abrasion of brake pads and rails, thereby reducing maintenance costs for the rails; and enables a train to easily stop at a precise location.</p> |
