EMBANKMENT REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an embankment by increasing a reinforcement effect thereof and curbing deformation thereof.SOLUTION: In a reinforcement structure of an embankment 1, underground walls 2 are installed in an almost vertical direction on both sides of an embankment 1 with the same placed in between. The reinforcement structure has a reinforcement member group 21 made up of: a horizontal member 11 which is driven in an almost horizontal direction between the underground walls 2 on both sides of the embankment 1 with both ends thereof connected to the respective underground walls 2; and a plurality of pile members 12 which are installed corresponding to the respective underground walls 2 on both sides of the embankment 1 and driven in inward and obliquely downward directions. The reinforcement structure can receive stress generated on the embankment 1 by dispersing the same in multiple directions and thereby increasing a reinforcement effect of the embankment 1.
