PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male terminal fitting which can be molded easily while ensuring the strength.SOLUTION: A male terminal fitting 10 includes a cylindrical body portion 11, a tab 12 of hollow shape excepting the tip having, on the outer surface, a contact area 33 coming into contact with a mating terminal fitting, and a coupling portion 13 having a height and a width decreasing gradually from the body portion 11 toward the tab 12. Change parts (a rear change part 26 and a front change part 29) for changing at least one of the height and width discontinuously are provided at at least two points between the body portion 11 and the contact area 33. |
