PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to suppress color misregistration correction error.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: multiple pieces of image forming means each of which comprises a rotated conductive image carrier and a photoreceptor, forms a developer image on the photoreceptor, and transfers the developer image formed on the photoreceptor to the image carrier in a transfer position; application means which applies a voltage to the image carrier; detection means which detects a current flowing between the photoreceptor and the image carrier; and correction means which forms a detection image for color-misregistration correction on the photoreceptor, to correct color misregistration by means of changes in current detected by the detection means. |
