摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device and a laser attachment structure capable of appropriately attaching a semiconductor laser to a housing.SOLUTION: A caulking ring 420 has a hole 420a into which an outer circumference of a stem 101a of a semiconductor laser 101 is fitted. A concave portion D into which the caulking ring 420 is fitted is formed at a position at which the semiconductor laser 101 is attached to a housing 400. In a state in which the outer circumference of the stem 101a of the semiconductor laser 101 is fitted into the hole 420a of the caulking ring 420, an inner circumference of the caulking ring 420 is deformed inward by caulking, thereby fixing the semiconductor laser 101 to the caulking ring 420. In a state in which the caulking ring 420 is fitted into the concave portion D of the housing 400, an outer circumference of the caulking ring 420 is deformed outward by caulking, thereby fixing the caulking ring 420 to the housing 400.
