<p>The present invention provides for a wading implement (10) suitable for use in times of flooding. Said wading implement (10) has a sole (100) made of lightweight material, a pliable upper (220) connected to the sole (100); and a suspender (300) connected to the upper (220). The length of the upper (220) is predetermined so that the opening thereof extends towards the thighs of the user so as to sustain high flood levels. On the other hand, its diameter is also pre-selected such that it is larger than the foot and leg of the user. Because of this design, the disclosed wading implement (10) can be worn over the shoes and pants of the user without requiring him to switch footwear thereby reducing hassle on the part of the wearer.</p> |
