PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for a cooking stove capable of sufficiently cleaning a bottom face for mounting an ignition plug or an inner face of a recess for mounting the ignition plug while performing proper ignition of an ignition plug.SOLUTION: Plural flame holes and igniting flame holes are formed in a circumferential direction between an annular flame hole formation part 9 of a burner body 1 and a burner cap. The flame hole formation part 9 has an extension part 9A extending toward an outer side than the burner cap in a radial direction. A recess U for mounting an ignition plug recessed inward in the radial direction is formed at a portion of the flame hole formation part 9 in a manner to have a back side portion Ur positioned on a back of an ignition plug P, and a pair of extension portions Us respectively extending outward in the radial direction from both ends in a circumferential direction of the back side portion Ur. The pair of extension portions Us are formed in a manner that an interval in the circumferential direction gets larger on an outer side in the radial direction. |
