PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-fusible sheath-core type composite fiber whose hydrophilicity can be changed greatly by a heat treatment, and to provide a non woven fabric using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a nonwoven fabric having adhered thereto a fiber treating agent comprising (A) polyorganosiloxane, (B) an alkyl phosphate ester, (C) an anionic surfactant represented by R1R2-Z-X. (In the (C) component, Z is an ester group, an amide group, an amine group, a polyoxyalkylene group, an ether group, or a C2 to C16 linear or branched alkyl group which may contain a double bond; X is -SOM, -OSOM, or -COOM, where M is Na, K, Mg, Ca, or ammonium). By a heat treatment, permeation of the fiber treating agent into the fiber is facilitated, resulting in a change of hydrophilicity of the fiber surface. Provided is a method for changing hydrophilicity by changing a degree of the heat treatment depending on portions, which is realized by changing density of a nonwoven fabric produced by using the heat-fusible fiber by surface irregularities and thus changing an amount of heat received by surface irregularities from an air flow for heat treatment.
|
