Provided are a method, device and system for transmitting a service message, which relate to the field of communications and can reduce the waste of resources and the power consumption and interference of the system. The method comprises: a receiving end device receiving a pre-set number of data blocks of a service message sent by a sending end device through a forward traffic channel, wherein the pre-set number is smaller than the sum of the data blocks corresponding to the service message; the receiving end device restoring the service message by demodulating and decoding the received data blocks; if the receiving end device judges that the service message being restored is correct, then the receiving end device stops receiving the remaining data of the service message and sending notification information to the sending end device by a backward traffic channel corresponding to the forward traffic channel, wherein the notification information is used for informing the sending end device that there is no need to send the remaining data of the service message. The present invention is applied to data transmission with a determined corresponding relationship between traffic channels of two directions.
