PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for suppressing rise in internal resistance of a battery.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a positive electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery including a lithium nickel composite oxide. When a difference is (A), which is obtained by subtracting the moisture content of the positive electrode at 170°C before charge/discharge measured by a Karl Fischer method from the moisture content of the positive electrode at 300°C before charge/discharge measured by the Karl Fischer method, and the difference is (B), which is obtained by subtracting the weight of the positive electrode at 300°C after charge/discharge from the weight of the positive electrode 170°C after charge/discharge, (A)/(B) is 0.19 or less. |
