PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic spherical body inspection device for detecting presence/absence of defects and snowflakes inside a surface layer without destroying a ceramic spherical body by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The ceramic spherical body inspection device 100 rotatably supports the ceramic spherical body S at a predetermined position, detects irradiation light of light projection means 110 in light receiving means 120, and evaluates the internal state of the surface layer. The light receiving means 120 is configured so as not to detect the reflected light on the surface of the ceramic spherical body of irradiation light radiated from the light projection means 110.
