The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing thelephoric acid as an active component for inhibiting drug-metabolizing enzymes. The thelephoric acid of the present invention has: a capacity-dependent and nonspecific inhibition effect on activities of 9 kinds of CYP subtypes in a body; strong inhibition effects on activities of 8 kinds of CYP subtypes using competitive inhibition; and excellent inhibition effects on CYPs which can be compared with Proadifen which is a conventional drug metabolizing enzyme. Therefore, the present invention can be used as a novel pharmaceutical composition for nonspecific drug metabolizing enzymes.
