<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a wood-material moulding using a wood base material and a thermally curable binder by pressing, wherein a heat transfer into the wood-material moulding takes place in the form of a surge of steam to cure the binder. In order to reduce the pressing time, it is proposed to increase the process air pressure, prevailing in the pressing chamber before the heat transfer in the form of a surge of steam, with respect to the atmospheric air pressure prevailing outside the pressing chamber. By relieving the pressure in a specific way during the pressing time, the material is abruptly heated through, allowing the timing and execution of the heating-through process to be influenced.</p> |
