<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface which is convenient for a user to use by preventing any significant information or information which should be necessarily displayed from being hidden. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor is configured to, when the movement of a boarder line of an area of a picture having a plurality of areas is instructed, restrict the instructed movement of the boarder line so that it can be prevented from being made smaller than width or height determined with respect to the area.
