A method of treating living trees consists in injecting an easily-diffusible impregnating agent, such as a solution of sodium fluoride or of the sodium salt of nitro-chlorophenol. The solution is introduced into a single downwardly inclined bore hole extending into the heart of the tree. After absorption, further quantities of solution may be introduced until the tree is killed. Specification 323,013, [Class 6 (ii), Gardening &c. appliances], is referred to. |
