PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly restore the falling temperature of an ejection head to a prescribed level. SOLUTION: There is provided a droplet ejection device including an ejection head that ejects a liquid in a form of droplets from a plurality of nozzles, which droplet ejection device further includes a plurality of pressure chambers that communicate with the respective nozzles and store a liquid, a plurality of pressurizing members that are disposed in the respective pressure chambers and generate a pressure change in the liquid stored therein, a driving signal generator that generates a minutely oscillating driving signal having a plurality of minutely oscillating driving patterns for causing the pressurizing members to minutely oscillate to the extent of not allowing the nozzles to eject the droplet therefrom, and a signal application member that applies the minutely oscillating driving signal chosen in accordance with the temperature of the ejection head onto the pressurizing members.
