PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a childbirth forceps which can be easily used, can properly pulling a head part of an unborn baby during childbirth, has little load to a mother's body, and can enhance safety. SOLUTION: The childbirth forceps 10 has a left leaf part 11A and a right leaf part 11B. In the left leaf part 11A and the right leaf part 11B, base end parts are forceps handles 12; distal end parts are inserting rods 13; and a middle parts are jointing parts 14. Belts 15 comprising a flexible material are extended from the distal ends of the inserting rods 13; coupling belts 16 and a hook-and-loop fastener 17 are arranged in the distal ends of the belts 15 as coupling means for coupling the distal ends of the belts 15; the belts 15 are arranged in both sides of the head part of the unborn baby in the mother's body; the distal ends of the belt 15 are coupled with each other by a hook-and-loop fastener 17 in the occipital region of the unborn baby; and the occipital region of the unborn baby is caught with the belts.
