<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake for a vehicle in which a torque receiving part for receiving braking toque from a friction pad when the vehicle running forward and rearward can be formed in a caliper bracket in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A toque receiving part 4i when running forward and braking for abutting on the friction pad 7 of an acting part side and receiving breaking toque when the vehicle is running forward and braking and a torque receiving part 4p when running rearward and braking for abutting on the friction pad 7 of the acting part side and receiving braking torque when the vehicle is running rearward and braking are arranged in a disk rotation output side more than a cylinder part 3i of the caliper bracket 4.
