PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer particles excellent in dispersion stability of the polymer particles in a polymer particle-containing composition, hardly precipitated and uniformly dispersed in self-impact resilience of the polymer particles even if addition of a dispersing agent and surface treatment are not performed when the solvent is evaporated from the polymer particle-containing composition, and a polymer particle-containing composition containing such polymer particles. SOLUTION: The polymer particles containing a vinyl-based polymer are characterized in that the fluctuation coefficient of a particle diameter is 20% or less and the hydrophobic index is 15-35.
