PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank device requiring no adjustment of a ball chain length on site. SOLUTION: A tank device 10 comprises: an interior tank 110; a drain valve device 140; and an operation mechanism 150 for opening/closing the drain valve device 140. The operation mechanism 150 comprises: a handlebar 160 fixed to the interior tank 110; a rotation transmission member 170 for transmitting a rotating operation from the handlebar 160; a spindle mechanism 180 connected to the rotation transmission member 170; and ball chains 151 and 152 for connecting the spindle mechanism 180 and the drain valve device 140. The rotating operation from the handlebar 160 is transmitted to rotate the spindle mechanism 180 so as to open/close the drain valve device 140. The spindle mechanism 180 is fixed to the interior tank 110 so as to maintain a predetermined distance from the drain valve device 140.
