SEISMIC RETROFIT METHOD FOR REINFORCING PARTITION WALL OF MANSORY

The present invention provides a seismic retrofit method for the partition wall of a masonry tank, which reinforces the partition wall of masonry tank, using a linear reinforcing member, an end connection unit, and a throttle connection unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the steps of processing a base surface by removing paint applied on the surface of the partition wall of a masonry to be reinforced and roughly processing the surface; installing end connection units in the beam and the slab of the partition wall of a masonry tank respectively and then coupling an end coupler to each end connection unit; installing the linear reinforcing member by screw-combining linear member couplers to both ends of the linear reinforcing member respectively and then connecting the end couplers and the linear member couplers to fixing sockets; and placing non-shrink mortar or concrete so that the linear reinforcing member can be completely embedded into and integrated with the partition wall.
