Disclosed by the present invention are a vehicle maintenance verification system and a vehicle maintenance verification method to verify whether a problem exists in the maintenance items of a vehicle maintenance history or not. The vehicle maintenance verification system according to the present invention includes an insurance company server including: a maintenance work unit registering part which receives the registration of a maintenance work unit which includes maintenance items of each vehicle type; a vehicle maintenance history receiving part which receives the vehicle maintenance history of a maintenance company which includes maintenance items; a vehicle maintenance history analyzing part which analyzes the vehicle maintenance history and divides the vehicle maintenance history into maintenance work units; and a verification item detecting part which determines maintenance items of a maintenance work unit as the verification of an insurance process and detects remaining maintenance items, which are not divided into the maintenance work units, as verification items. The present invention prevents insurance leaks by: detecting an error by verifying the vehicle maintenance history of a maintenance company; and increasing the accuracy of an evaluation of the vehicle maintenance history.
