<p>Spring system for a motor vehicle with a leveling device for setting a pre-determined height of the vehicle construction comprises at least one piston/cylinder unit (13) provided with a working cylinder (15), a piston rod (18) and a damping piston (17) with a damping valve, a pump for an oil reservoir, and inlet and outlet lines between the oil reservoir and the piston/cylinder unit. The piston/cylinder unit and the pump are separate assemblies that are pre-fabricated individually. At least the piston/cylinder unit is filled with damping agent before assembly of the two components. - Preferred Features: The piston/cylinder unit has a connector (1) for fixing to the pump.</p> |
