The present invention relates to the field of electronic technologies. Disclosed is a remote controller, comprising a storage unit, a codebook selection unit and a notification unit, wherein more than two remote control signal codebooks are stored in the storage unit; the codebook selection unit is used for selecting one of the more than two remote control signal codebooks; and the notification unit is used for notifying the television of the remote control signal codebook selected by the codebook selection unit. Further disclosed are a television and a remote control method. According to the technical solution of the present invention, in the case that a user operates televisions through the own remote controllers, mutual interference can still be avoided even if there are a plurality of televisions of the same model, and the reason for this is that the remote control signal codebooks selected for these televisions are different. Thus, the user experience of the television user can be improved. |
