FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: device (1) for power plant pump sealing comprises a pump casing including the first and the second pipelines for liquid medium, a shaft which near the pump casing includes the first channel for liquid medium, a mechanical seal mounted between the shaft and the pump casing and comprising friction elements for the mutual friction of a rotating part and a fixed part. There are two states of the device. The first state is shutdown when the liquid medium does not circulate in the said device and the second one - is operation when the liquid medium flows in the circulation loop passing through: - the first channel for the supply of the liquid medium to the loop, - the second channel which is set between the pump casing and the seal and is communicated with the above friction elements, the second channel also forms the unit for cooling of the friction elements and a heat shield, - the first pipeline for the supply of the cooled liquid medium to the second channel, - the second pipeline for the removal of hot liquid medium from the second channel.EFFECT: invention improves reliability of a sealing device.10 cl, 1 dwg |
