<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slewing gear capable of performing a smooth rotation by a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A slewing gear A comprises a base block 3 having permanent magnets 2 buried on a lateral truncated conical part 1, a lateral conical cylinder 6 having permanent magnets 5 buried on an inner peripheral inclined surface 4, a rotating shaft 7 pivotally supported on the base block 3 and the lateral conical cylinder 6, a rotary body 8 connected to the rotating shaft 7 and weight columns 11 having permanent magnets 9, rollers 10 arranged at the extremity ends of the columns and rotated together with the rotary body 8 and they are set in such a way that a cylinder radius of one half part of the lateral conical cylinder 6 and a cylinder radius of the other half part of the lateral conical cylinder 6 are different from each other. Since a plurality of weight columns 11 are connected to the rotary body 8, a variation of the rotating speed of the rotating shaft 7 is restricted by inertia. In addition, since rollers 10 slide, the action of the weight columns 11 kept being floated becomes stable.</p> |
