PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a refrigerant collected in an expansion tank to a refrigeration cycle in a short time, thereby shortening the re-starting time of a freezer.SOLUTION: A freezer 1 includes: an expansion tank 10 which is connected to the suction side of a compressor 2 and houses a refrigerant circulating in a refrigeration cycle 1A; an on-off valve 11 provided between the expansion tank 10 and the suction side of the compressor 2, the on-off valve 11 which opens during stoppage of the compressor 2 and closes after activation of the freezer 1; and a differential pressure generation unit 20 which increases a differential pressure between a pressure of the expansion tank 10 and a pressure of the refrigeration cycle 1A at the time of the activation of the freezer 1. |
