PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel of a new structure.SOLUTION: A pixel includes a TFT for current control, and a TFT for switching. A conductive layer functioning as a gate electrode of the TFT for switching is different from a conductive layer having an area functioning as gate wiring, and a conductive layer having an area functioning as source wiring is electrically connected to a semiconductor layer having a channel formation area of the TFT for switching. In the conductive layer having a first area functioning as a power line and a second area having a lengthwise direction crossing the lengthwise direction of the first area, the first area is electrically connected to the semiconductor layer having the channel formation area of the TFT for current control through the second area.
