<p>The present invention relates to an integrated camera management system and a method thereof. According to the present invention, an integrated camera management system is provided. The integrated camera management system includes: a camera information management unit which receives, from a user terminal, camera information on each of a plurality of cameras, and stores the received camera information, wherein the camera information includes at least one among a monitoring direction, a shape, a function, and a coordinate value; an information search unit which selects cameras directed towards the specific area, based on the stored camera information, when a request for information on a camera photographing the specific area is received; and an electronic map providing unit which generates an icon matching the camera information on each of the selected cameras, maps the icon to a pre-stored electronic map based on the coordinate values of the selected cameras, and provides the electronic map. By the present invention as described above, necessary event/accident images can be provided to a manager efficiently and effectively by efficiently selecting cameras photographing a specific area, providing camera information on the selected cameras to a control center, making the camera information into a synopsis, and providing only necessary images.</p> |
