The present invention relates to a technique capable of separating soil and floating matters, which flow to an underground rainwater collecting tank and then are settled in a lower portion of the rainwater collecting tank, from rainwater to store clean rainwater in the rainwater collecting tank, and settling the soil flowing with the rainwater in a lower portion of a discharge manhole to easily clean the rainwater collecting tank. A rainwater pipe is installed between an inflow manhole and a discharge manhole so as to guide the rainwater from the inflow manhole to the rainwater collecting tank via the discharge manhole, so that the rainwater flows in the discharge manhole to settle the soil flowing with the rainwater in a lower portion of the discharge manhole and letting the floating matters to flow to a drain together with the water when the manhole is filled with the water. The rainwater separated from the soil and the floating matters flows to the rainwater collecting tank via the drain below the discharge manhole, and the floating matters remaining in the rainwater are filtered by a dense screen installed between the lower portion of the discharge manhole and the rainwater collecting tank, thereby storing the clean water. The cleaning of the rainwater collecting tank made of concrete is performed by removing the soil collected in the lower portion of the discharge manhole with minimum workers. Since the floating matters are not collected in the rainwater collecting tank made of plastic, it is not necessary to clean the plastic structure. |
