<p>A caller ID apparatus and a method thereof capable of confirming whether a caller is a registered caller are provided to confirm the originator accurately regardless of the existence of a cooler ID function. A method for conforming a caller comprises next. A caller identification apparatus receives the calling subscriber number of originators from an exchange unit(S30).
