The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for reproducing media data and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for reproducing media data, which can deliver a visual impression which the color of an image shows to a user through auditory information by extracting color data (color, intensity, etc.) from an image (picture or video) photographed by a photographing device such as a mobile device, a web cam, etc. or a picture directly inputted from a user, automatically determining and reproducing melody data and tempo data (sound source) associated with the extracted color data, and measuring the user′s electromyogram and additionally reproducing various effect sounds according a change in the action potential of the muscle. |
